Employees have the right to know about chemical hazards in the workplace. The employer is required to let employees know how to find the company's written hazard communication program, lists of hazardous chemicals, and the SDS on each chemical in the workplace. Employees must also know and understand what the information means on container labels and in the safety data sheets.
